The film “Joker: Delirium for Two”, sequel to 2019’s “Joker”, received the first official poster with the characters Joker and Harley Quinn, played by Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga. The film hits Brazilian cinemas on October 4th.
In the image, released by Warner Bros Pictures (check below), the actors are properly characterized with the caption “The world is a stage”. The sequel, according to director Todd Phillips, will be a musical. The first trailer will be released on April 9th
Little has been released about the synopsis of the feature film, which will have several scenes in Arkham Asylum, a psychiatric institution that houses Batman’s villains and where Joker and Harley Quinn meet.
In 2019, the origin story of the most famous villain in the Batman universe took more than 9.7 million Brazilians to the cinema, according to Ancine’s annual report, and won two Oscars: Best Soundtrack and Best Actor for Joaquin Phoenix.
