The 3rd Special Border Platoon (3rd PEF) seized around 544 kilos of drugs, similar to Skunk-type marijuana, in the Capana community, in Amazonas, on the border with Colombia.

The seizure was made after the Colombian Platoon of La Pedrera informed the Brazilian Army about the possible presence of suspects in the region. Local residents reported the movement of individuals to the Colombian military.

For the approach, the military remained in a strategic position for several days, until they spotted a vessel close to the Capana community.

At the time, two suspects realized the presence of authorities and fled into the woods.

All seized material was towed to the 3rd PEF, where it was weighed and stored for subsequent procedures.
