The information is present in the new report on those affected by the rains published by the Civil Defense of Rio Grande do Sul, at 6 pm. With the new update, it is known that 67,428 people are in shelters, almost 700 more than what was announced at noon today, 66,761.
The number of deaths remained at 100, but only 2 remain under investigation as another 2 were defined as unrelated to the climatic event.
The balance also contains information that eight more municipalities were affected by the rains, reaching 425, and that 66 more people are homeless in the State, totaling 163,786 people. Since the last bulletin, the agency found that two more people were missing and two others were injured, reaching 130 and 374, respectively.

To do this, it is necessary to send the location’s zip code via SMS to the number 40199. Then, a confirmation is sent, making the number available to receive the information whenever it is released.

Then, you need to interact with the customer service robot by sending a simple “Hi”. After the first interaction, the user can share their current location or any other location of interest to them to receive messages that will be forwarded by the state Civil Defense.
