Senate Plenary approves PL 4015/23 with amendments by Senator Izalci, articulated by Sindjus, which included the Judicial Police and MPU in the project

The general coordinator of Sindjus Costa Neto followed, directly from the Senate Plenary, the approval, in the early evening of this Wednesday (8/5), of PL 4015/23, which deals with the recognition of some activities of the Judiciary and of the Public Ministry as a permanent risk. The project also guarantees protection measures for members of related professions, as well as increasing criminal treatment for crimes of homicide and intentional bodily injury against them, as long as they are in the exercise of their function or as a result of it, or against their spouse, partner or relative, including by affinity, up to the third degree, due to this condition.

PL 4015/23 was approved with two amendments articulated by Sindjus and presented by Senator Izalci at the CCJ, which guarantee the inclusion of Judicial Police Officers (Amendment No. 25) and Public Prosecutor’s Office Police Officers (Amendment No. 24) in the list of risk activities included in the project. It is important to remember Sindjus’ work with Senator Weverton Rocha (PDT-MA), rapporteur of the project at the CCJ, for accepting these amendments.

The Director of the ASMPF MPU Police Unit, Thiago Belisário, also actively worked together with Sindjus to facilitate and approve the amendment that included the Public Ministry Police in the project.

For Costa Neto, “the approval of this matter represents a great victory for the Judicial Police and Public Prosecutor’s Office Police, supporting the risk inherent to the position they hold. Sindjus worked hard and achieved another important step towards valuing and strengthening the Judicial Police and the Public Prosecutor’s Office Police. I want to thank Senator Izalci once again for his commitment to Sindjus and the agenda of our category”.

The matter will return to the Chamber of Deputies for consideration.

Proud to be Sindjus. Join and strengthen your Union.
