The State Department of Finance of Alagoas (Sefaz) is explaining how to redeem the credits available to those eligible for the Citizen Invoice draws. According to information released, 1,965 people have not yet requested raffle credits, totaling R$758,498.14 in prizes available for redemption.

The entire procedure for obtaining credits is done online, through the campaign’s official website at http://nfcidada.sefaz.al.gov.br/. When accessing the link, the user must log in with the “User” identification and registered password. Then, it is necessary to access the “Current Account” menu to check the availability of balance and, if available, click on “Use Credits”. The minimum amount to request is R$15.00, and the deadline to receive it is up to 30 business days.

It is important to highlight the need to check whether the current or savings account entered is correct, as in the event of an error, the transfer amount will be reversed with a discount on the operating cost in the amount of R$1.50 for Caixa and R$3.50 for other banks. To register a new account, simply select the “Draw” menu and click on “Bank Account”. In the case of Banco do Brasil account holders, it is necessary to enter the operation code 000 for banking transactions.

Juliane Calheiros, head of Tax Education at Sefaz, highlights the importance of citizens periodically checking their accounts after the draws to ensure the redemption of credits. It warns that if the consumer does not request redemption within 1 year, the prescribed values will be canceled and the prize will be lost.

The Citizen Invoice is an initiative that benefits Alagoas citizens, allowing the return of up to 10% of the Tax on Circulation of Goods and Services (ICMS) collected. To participate, the consumer must register in the campaign and request the CPF in the invoice during their purchases, competing for cash prizes. For every 10 registered invoices, the consumer receives a ticket, and it is possible to double this number by sharing the invoices with a registered institution. This action contributes to rewarding not only consumers, but also social institutions, promoting social inclusion and the development of the State of Alagoas.
