The Commercial Association of Cruzeiro do Sul, in Acre, launched a campaign to help the city of Cruzeiro do Sul, in Rio Grande do Sul, which is going through critical moments due to rain and river flooding.
Businesswomen Núcia Melo, Duda Bardi and Célia Petry, from the Commercial Association of Cruzeiro do Sul-AC, made an appeal to the population. “In Rio Grande do Sul there is a city with the same name as ours, Cruzeiro do Sul, and they are going through a very serious situation”, they said.
The Cruzeiro do Sul Commercial Association made its PIX key available 84319672000154 to receive donations for affected families in the city of Cruzeiro do Sul in Rio Grande do Sul. “You can donate as much as you want, two, five, ten reais. Any amount will make a difference for these people who lost everything”, stated the businesswomen.
The appeal is urgent and the need is now. “Don’t leave it until tomorrow, it has to be done today. The families there are suffering, they are children, they are parents, they are young people, they are elderly, so this is our way of contributing”, they highlighted.
The campaign aims to unite the two homonymous cities in a supportive embrace. “Cruzeiro do Sul in Acre will embrace Cruzeiro do Sul in Rio Grande do Sul. We will do well and we will make a difference”, concluded the businesswomen. The PIX key for donations is the one written in the campaign video.
