She argued that public transport should not be a tool of segregation, but rather a service accessible to all citizens. “We do need zero tariffs and not just for students, for the unemployed, for atypical mothers. I fight for it,” she justified.

To enable the implementation of zero tariffs, Janad proposes efficient management of the public transport fleet through a Public Private Partnership, which should facilitate the operationalization of transport activities, such as hiring staff, maintenance, modernization and investment in municipal public transport. Furthermore, it wants to implement a comprehensive urban mobility plan, with the creation of smart lines and the integration of public transport with cycle paths, motorcycle taxis and mobility applications.
Janad believes that Palmas is capable of implementing, partially or fully, free transport vouchers for students, taking into account the annual revenue from the city of Palmas, he states that it is possible to implement specific budgetary policies that create subsidies such as municipal laws that enable the sale of advertising on buses, stations and bus stops.
