After a 0-0 result at home against Jacuipense in the debut of the Brazilian Series D Championship, Petrolina is looking for its first victory in the competition. Fera Sertaneja will go to Arapiraca, to face ASA today (04), at 5pm, at the Coaracy Fonseca stadium, Fumeirão.
In their debut in the fourth division, Petrolina failed to open the scoring against Jacuipense, despite having been better for most of the match and creating the best chances. The draw left the team in sixth place in group A4.
ASA comes from a narrow victory over Sergipe away from home, with a score of 3×2. The Alagoas team appears as the leader of group A4, as it was the only one that managed to win in the competition’s debut. Now, they hope to assert control on the field and further expand the group’s leadership.
