The victim owned a stud farm, a horse breeding and training farm, in Santa Cruz. According to the investigations, “the accused, in typical extermination group activity, flanked by his accomplice (not yet identified), disembarked from the car (…), went towards the victim and opened fire on him”. The investigations continue to fully elucidate the murder, including identifying the person who ordered it and the other person who carried it out.
For prosecutor Alexandre Themístocles, the accused acted for a base reason, at the behest of a criminal group that commands illicit activities in that region.
“Lying on the victim’s daily routine and chasing her since the morning, when she had left the gym, the accused set up a stakeout and carried out the surprise attack, making any chance of defense impossible”, highlighted Themístocles.
