Signing of the Aral Moreira agreement

In a publication in the Official State Gazette (DOE), this Friday (3), it was announced that the municipalities of Aral Moreira, Taquarussu, Batayporã and Japorã were awarded significant investments in infrastructure works, totaling an amount of R$9 .8 million.

In Aral Moreira, more than R$2.3 million will be invested in urban infrastructure works, including asphalt paving and rainwater drainage in several streets in the Vila Satélite neighborhood.

In Taquarussu, the agreement provides for asphalt paving and rainwater drainage on several roads in the municipality, with an investment of more than R$4.4 million.

Batayporã will benefit from more than R$2.4 million in urban infrastructure works, including asphalt paving and rainwater drainage at Residencial Antônio Olímpio Pinheiro and Vila Maria Gonçalves da Silva.

Japorã will receive resources for the construction of the Mortuary Chapel, promoting improvements in local infrastructure, with a planned investment of more than R$533 thousand.

To date, 44 municipal representatives have already been to the State Secretariat for Infrastructure and Logistics (Seilog) to sign the agreements that are being published in the Official Gazette, and formalize the partnerships.

In 2024 alone, R$2.8 billion is expected to be allocated to urban infrastructure works, civil construction, roads, bridges, local roads, as well as improvements in energy and logistics at municipal airports and aerodromes through MS Ativo.

The objective of the program is to strengthen partnerships with municipalities, promoting socioeconomic development and improving the quality of life of the population of Mato Grosso do Sul. “The MS Ativo Program continues to play a fundamental role in the transformation and progress of local communities across the State, without leaving anyone behind. The entire Seilog and Agesul team has worked tirelessly to ensure compliance with these indices and targets, and to build a more prosperous and developed State”, explains Secretary Hélio Peluffo.
