On the morning of this Friday (03), the Civil Police of the State of Piauí, through the Department of Repression of Organized Criminal Actions (DRACO) and the Superintendency of Integrated Operations (SOI), seized all the material used during the holding parties at the music venue, Bar da Thays, located in Vila Madre Teresa, east of Teresina. The site also closed definitively. The action was carried out through a court decision.

The place had already been closed twice by the SSP-PI, the establishment was the target of Operation Silence and Peace where around 75 people were taken away, in addition to drugs, weapons, ammunition and money were seized. Furthermore, the site was closed on January 16th of this year because it did not have the necessary conditions required by the Military Fire Department for its operation.
According to Delegate Charles Pessoa, from the Department for the Repression of Organized Criminal Actions (Draco), the establishment remained administratively closed, and today, the court decision to completely close the commercial activities at the location was complied with.
The Delegate also says that they will continue to monitor the person responsible for the establishment, Thays, as well as the environment, where various materials that were part of the reggae context were seized and are being sent to justice.
