The Fire Department approved the stage and facilities prepared for Madonna’s show, which will be held this Saturday (4), at Copacabana Beach, in Rio de Janeiro. The inspection, carried out this Thursday (2), analyzed the conditions relating to safety against possible fires and panic, in addition to the range of emergency exits and access to fire extinguishers.
In addition to the main stage, common spaces, VIP areas, internal backstage access, kitchens, catwalks, administrative areas, dressing rooms for the singer and dancers and the secondary stage were inspected, where the opening show with DJ Pedro Sampaio will take place.
How was the inspection
The inspection included the entire temporary structure in external areas of the show, such as the surroundings of the Copacabana Palace and the walkway that connects the hotel, where Madonna is staying, to the event area.
The show is expected to be seen by 1.5 million people in Copacabana. The singer must take the stage at 9:45 pm and perform for two hours. The event, however, should start at 7pm, with DJs performing, and end at 2am on Sunday morning.
Eighteen towers will relay images and sound of the show in front and behind the stage, located in front of the Copacabana Palace.
