According to the Public Ministry, a technical report pointed out, among the irregularities, that the manufacturer of the dye used indicates that the product can be added to lakes, fountains, swimming pools, dams, as long as there is no open water flow current and that the product changed the color of the water in the Queima-Pé River, which violates the water quality standards established by the National Environmental Council (Conama).

The Mato Grosso Environment Secretariat (Sema-MT) issued a notice of infraction against the person responsible for releasing chemical substance powder into natural waterways, with the aim of changing its color, without authorization from the agency.

The day after the reveal tea, technicians from the state secretariat were on site, accompanied by employees from the Tangará da Serra Municipal Environmental Secretariat.

The owner of the place reported that he had no knowledge of the product used to color the water and that it was provided by a relative of the family members who promoted the event.

The person responsible for the revelation tea was interviewed by the organization accompanied by a lawyer and reported that he did not know that the waterfall would be dyed at the event and that it was family members who threw the product into the water. The owner of the property was also interviewed by the state secretariat and informed that he had just given the place away.
