In this FridayOn Friday (03), the produce market received an unusual product: a cassava that weighed 60 kilos. The case occurred this morning, at the Pedra Alta market, at Centrais de Abastecimento do Espírito Santo (Ceasa-ES), during trading hours.

The rural producer, Luís Stange, 79 years old, reported that the product was harvested from his property, in Santa Teresa, and taken to the Ceasa-ES market to be sold together with other goods, such as: coffee, cassava, yam, chayote , among others. He said that his reaction at the time was surprise, as this had never happened before.

The product display attracted many curious looks from people passing by, who took the opportunity to record what happened in images. The news spread quickly throughout the areas of Ceasa-ES and the 60 kilos of cassava were sold for approximately R$75.00.

The Ceasa-ES horticultural market operates second The Saturdayfrom 4:30 am to 12 pm, at Galpão da Pedra Alta and Pedra Baixa and is open to the public.
