With the announcement of the readjustment of the server base date by a percentage of 3.71%, the monthly impact on the payroll will be R$11.1 million. The value was informed by the state government this Thursday (2).

According to the Administration Secretariat (Secad), according to financial projections, with the percentage adjustment of the base date, the annual cost will be around R$148.3 million.

Secad also highlighted that this adjustment is within the State’s budgetary and financial capacity.

The percentage defined by the government, 3.71%, is slightly below what was requested in a joint letter signed by all union representatives that make up the state civil servants. The requested adjustment was 4.6211%, based on the Broad National Consumer Price Index (IPCA).

In provisional measure (MP) No. 11/2024, the percentage in the annual general review referring to the base date of May 2024 was granted to public servants in all public service categories. Measure 12/2024 amended laws from 2016 and 2019 and also granted an adjustment to commissioned employees.

The two MPs came into force this Tuesday with financial effects starting this Wednesday (1st), the Labor Day holiday.
