The Military Highway Police Battalion begins, this Friday morning (03/05), the Yellow May Campaign on the state highways of Mato Grosso do Sul.
The Yellow May Movement was born as a proposal from the United Nations, in 2011, to draw society’s attention to the high rate of deaths and injuries in traffic around the world. This is an international awareness movement to reduce traffic accidents, making it safer for everyone in any situation.
The campaign is marked by several actions to prevent accidents, traffic education, and driver awareness, carried out on the state highways of Mato Grosso do Sul by BPMRv, which is responsible for traffic inspection, and overt policing on our highways.
Several actions are scheduled throughout the month of May on state highways, especially educational blitzes and preventive actions involving various bodies that operate in traffic inspection in Mato Groso do Sul, as well as intensified inspection on the most sensitive stretches of our highways.
Remember, we work to make our highways increasingly safer, but your safety and that of your family depends on you, always respecting other drivers and the traffic law.
