It’s the end of the month, but Mato Grosso do Sul’s cultural agenda remains full of fun. From Youth Festival to Shows, check out what to do on the last weekend of April.

Second day of the Youth Festival! This Friday there will be workshops, literary activities, lectures, capoeira, poetry and musical shows with Matu Miranda and Ana Canãs.

The theater group presents the show “O Bem-Amado”. It is a free adaptation of the work of Dias Gomes and talks about the crazy adventures of Odorico Paraguaçu. Rating: 14 years old.

Last days to enjoy the park season! Among the adventures are ranger, disco, bumper car track, 6D cinema, tagada, twister, wizard, rock & roll, trampoline, giostrina, little train, buggy, little truck, target shooting, fishing and the famous ferris wheel.

The tournament is part of the 1st Motims – MS Improvisation Theater Show, promoted by Teatral Grupo de Risco. In it, teams compete against each other for the public vote, which chooses the best improvised stories based on suggestions from the audience.

Van Gogh & Impressionists Exhibition

The space contains videographic effects and movements in renowned works. It is a true combination of art and technology, with 360º high definition super projections and other installations in a 1,500m² complex.

The public is taken on a journey through the brilliant universe of the Dutch painter Van Gogh and his famous works, such as self-portraits, The Starry Night, Room in Arles, Sunflowers, Almond Tree in Bloom, among others. The exhibition also has paintings by four impressionist and post-impressionist artists: Monet, Renoir, Gauguin and Cézanne.

The attraction also features an Instagrammable labyrinth, artistic installations depicting interesting facts about the artists’ lives, a themed cafe and souvenir shop, as well as a grand immersive studio with 360º high definition projections on walls, floors, cubes and cylinders.

Show “Impróbito: Gentle & Morbid”

The show is a long-form improvisation created and directed by Rodrigo Amém. It explores the story of a death, its origins and consequences. The plot is developed entirely by the cast based on suggestions from the audience, resulting in a surprising and thought-provoking experience, which oscillates between the comic and the tragic, the sweet and the morbid.

Comedians will test their jokes for the first time in a stand up performance!

Singer Djavan presents the “D” world tour. The repertoire is always a surprise, but the public can expect the big hits.

First showcase in Campo Grande! In addition to DJs Metheus Schuckar and Márcio Vermelho, from São Paulo, local guests will also play: Undercod, Bruno Lino, Najja and Jorge Hansen.

Cooperate Fair | IN PONTA PORÃ

The highlight of the fair is the samba circle with singer and composer Ana Paula Lopes. There will also be local exhibitors and partners in the areas of crafts, botany, clothing, cosmetics, hygiene, aromatherapy, services, pet products, sweet and savory foods, as well as art, illustration and fine arts.

There will be around 30 exhibitors from gastronomy, crafts, fashion, thrift stores and used bookstores.

A musical meeting with the band Calorosa, from Cuiabá (MT), which plays rasqueado, lambadão, reggae and electronic; and the artist DOVALLE, presenting the show “Breguenight”, a project that is the synthesis of experiments influenced by border culture. The event is organized by the production company Guará.

Show “Se Vira! – Humor & Improvisation”

The show consists of short improvisation games, where the actors face challenges to create stories and make the audience laugh. In a dynamic and interactive format, artists use their creativity and improvisational skills to guarantee moments of fun and entertainment for everyone present. The play closes the 1st Motims – MS Improvisation Theater Show, promoted by Teatral Grupo de Risco.

Urban Connection | IN NOVA ANDRADINA

It will be the 2nd edition of the event, which highlights the competition “A Quebra – Batalha de Breaking”, with B-boys and B-girls from Mato Grosso do Sul. There will also be a Break Dance workshop with B-boy Fabinho, from Campo Large, live painting graffiti, with GaAra and Os Dedos Sujos; open space for skaters, MCs and performances by local artists. Singer SoulRa will perform at the closing show of Conexão Urbana.

Residents will enjoy a show by the bands Tia Pam and Fora do Contexto.
