Thinking of an immediate response to the lack of drinking water for the victims of Rio Grande do Sul, Felipe Neto and other influencers sent 220 purifiers this Wednesday (8). The YouTuber had the help of donations from the public and spent R$4.8 million to buy all available stock of the machine and took them all with the help of the Brazilian Air Force plane. Understand how it works!
Felipe Neto explained how the equipment works. “This purifier is capable of taking all that muddy, dirty and unsuitable water and transforming it into crystal clear drinking water that is 100% suitable for human consumption,” he highlighted.
According to Minister Paulo Pimenta, from Secom, each purifier can purify 5 thousand liters of water per day, that is, 1 million and 100 liters of water per day. “The objective today was to deliver to Canoas, São Leopoldo, Guaíba and Porto Alegre, but the weather conditions did not allow all these points to be visited and helped today”, he informed. He assured that distribution will begin, but did not detail when it will be.
Price
Felipe Neto was criticized on social media and took the opportunity to account for the values of each purifier. “To the idiots claiming I lied about the value of the purifiers. Each purifier cost R$ 18 thousand; + R$ 2 thousand for the line filter; + R$2 thousand in maintenance = R$22 thousand reais”, he wrote.
“There was no discount on bulk purchases for this type of product. If anyone feels they can do better, please stop talking and do it,” he added.
