This Thursday (25), the Rural Workers Union of Casca was present at the General Assembly of the Federation of Agricultural Workers of Rio Grande do Sul – Fetag-RS, held at the entity’s headquarters in Porto Alegre. An assembly that brought together representatives from different regions of the state to debate crucial issues for the future of the countryside and family farmers

The assembly was the stage for debates on various topics that directly impact the lives of rural workers. Among the main points on the agenda, the presentation of the financial statements for the 2023 financial year, the 2023 Activity Report with a complete balance of the actions carried out over the past year, highlighting the achievements and challenges faced by the category. Topics such as the discount for Retirees – 2%, the ICMS project that is being debated in the Legislative Assembly, as well as strengthening the Grito da Terra Brasil, which will take place in Brasília, on the 20th and 21st of May were also discussed.

STR Casca, represented by its president, Nauro Nizzola, actively participated in the debates, raising the demands and desires of rural workers in the region. The presence of STR Casca at the Fetag-RS assembly reinforces the entity’s commitment to fighting for a fairer and more dignified future for rural workers.
