Military police seized drugs in a house used as a point of sale and use of narcotics in the Araguaína Sul sector, in Araguaína. The case was registered this Saturday (4), during police patrolling. Portions of cocaine and crack were seized inside an LED lamp.
According to the PM, the team approached a man who was leaving a house in the sector on a bicycle. Substances similar to crack were found with him. The suspect reportedly told police officers that he had just purchased the drug at the residence.
The police entered the scene and found a young man who confessed to selling the drugs.
“We managed to open the lamp. A genie didn’t come out, there were narcotics inside. The individual was arrested and he is being presented at the police station on duty”, said second lieutenant Claudomir Braga.
According to the PM, the suspect already had a history of drug trafficking and the address had already been used as a ‘smoking hole’ on other occasions. “We are having problems at this address because it is an abandoned house and users and drug dealers use it to sell and consume”, said the lieutenant.
O g1 requested more information about the suspect’s arrest and is awaiting feedback.
