PM disappeared on the coast of SP was ‘cowardly executed’, says police chief; understand | Santos and Region

Delegate Fabiano Barbeiro, from the Specialized Criminal Investigations Division (Deic) of Santos, on the coast of São Paulo, stated that PM soldier Luca Romano Angerami “was cowardly executed by criminals”. The agent disappeared on April 14, in Guarujá (SP). The police has already found six bodies during searches in Baixada Santista. The PM’s death has not yet been officially confirmed by the São Paulo Public Security Secretariat.

PM Luca, 21 years old, was last seen in a wine cellar and then at a drug trafficking point in the Santo Antônio community, in Guarujá. Delegate Fabiano Barbeiro spoke about the PM’s death, this Thursday (25), in an interview with reporter Matheus Croce, from TV Tribuna, a Globo affiliate.

“He was cowardly executed by criminals, members of the PCC [organização criminosa], who operate in the region in drug trafficking, and killed the police officer. And they decided to kill this police officer simply because he was a police officer. So, a cowardly act by these criminals”, said the delegate.

Police find six bodies during search for missing PM in Guarujá, SP

Barbeiro explained that, until last Thursday, the team had a sniffer dog specialized in finding living people. Without progress, however, the police began to use the services of an animal specialized in find bodies this Friday.

“If there really was death in that place, from there, and that is what we will do tomorrow [sexta-feira]we need to employ another type of dog, which is one specialized in locating decomposing material,” he stated.

With the help of the sniffer dog used until then, it was possible to further delimit the search area in Vila Baiana, the community where the police believe Luca is. According to Barbeiro, one of those being investigated even accompanied the agents and showed the place where the PM had gone while he was still alive.

“In this period of 10, 11 days of searches, six bodies have already been found in this location. We searched other locations, too, but the investigation ended with us making sure that the body was dumped there”, said the delegate.

Until the last update of the report, the police had located six bodieswhich would not belong to the missing police officer.

On Tuesday (16), the Civil and Military police received reports that Luca had been killed and left in the Pantanal community, in Guarujá. At the scene, agents found a body in a shallow grave and with clothes similar to those worn by the PM on the day he disappeared. The body was in a wooded area and, according to the police, was not the agent’s.

On Monday (22), the agents found two bones humanities in the Vila Baiana community. Last Wednesday (24), around 4pm, the PM located more three bodies buried in the same location. TV Tribuna, a broadcaster affiliated with Globo, learned from the police at the scene that two of the bodies found were already considered to be bones, while the third was in a state of decomposition.

On Sunday night (14), the same day of the disappearance, a man identified as Edivaldo Aragão, aged 36, was arrested for being suspected of participating in the alleged murder by Luca. He was approached by military police officers on Rua das Magnólias, close to the winery.

On Thursday night (18), Carlos Vinicius Santos da Silva, 26 years old, was arrested on Avenida das Acácias. A Military Police team read messages on a cell phone that proved his participation in the crime. He is the one who appears next to the PM soldier in the Santo Antônio community, the last image we have of Luca.

Police arrest six suspects involved in the kidnapping of soldier Luca from the PM

After Carlos Vinicius was detained, the police identified more suspects involved, based on testimony and messages. On Friday (19), four were arrested. Each would have a responsibility: one would have kept Luca’s gun; another would be the owner of the toe cap; one suspected of abandoning the car, and another driven with the police to the community.

According to the g1 found, a seventh suspect, known as “Caga”, presented himself spontaneously to the Santos Homicide Division last Monday (22).

When contacted about the statement involving the death of the PM, the SSP-SP limited itself to saying that the disappearance remains under investigation by the Civil Police with support from the Military Police.

Civil police officers from the 3rd Homicide Precinct of Deinter 6 located, on Wednesday afternoon (24), a shack on Rua Argentina, in Guarujá, where the soldier was allegedly kept. “Efforts continue to clarify the facts and locate the police officer,” he said in a statement.

Cellar cameras show last images of PM before disappearing on the coast of SP

Luca Romano Angerami, a 21-year-old PM soldier, disappeared in Guarujá (SP), after being filmed drinking with friends in a wine cellar (watch above). Luca lives in Santos (SP), but works at the 3rd Metropolitan Military Police Battalion (BPM/M) in São Paulo.

According to the SSP-SP, his car was found abandoned on Rodovia Cônego Domênio Rangoni, in the same city, on the morning of April 14th. The PM informed the reporting team that the vehicle key was on top of the trunk.
