MEC technicians visit state schools in Amazonas

Technicians from the Ministry of Education visited state schools in Amazonas to evaluate the management of federal resources. The objective is to improve and even increase investments.

The visit took place this Friday 26/04 in six state schools in the North, South and West zones of Manaus. Technicians from the National Education Development Fund – FNDE evaluated the management of resources from the Direct Money at School Program – PDDE, distributed to municipal and state institutions across the country. Hilda Souza, FNDE technician, explains that the evaluation allows for the best application of resources.

The action in the teaching units continues the training of managers, highlights Diana Franco, responsible for the School Management Strengthening Department.

Schools have already started receiving the first installment of this year’s PDDE. The novelty is the expansion of investment for indigenous, quilombola and rural schools, which will receive the amount of R$5,550.
