Union entities promote, this Thursday, an event in front of the National Museum

This Thursday (9), there will be a mobilization in celebration of the National Day of Struggle in Defense of the Federal Education Network, starting at 10 am in front of the National Museum. This act is part of the mobilization agenda for the technical servants’ strike, which began on April 15. The strike movement’s main proposals are salary adjustments and the restructuring of the careers of technical administrative employees in education (TAE) and basic technical and technological education (EBTT).

The mobilization was organized by five union entities: National Union of Federal Servants of Basic, Professional and Technological Education (Sinasefe), Union of Workers of the University of Brasília Foundation (Sinfub), Central Directory of Students Honestino Guimarães (DCE), Federation of Unions of Technical-Administrative Workers in Public Higher Education Institutions in Brazil (Fasubra) and the National Union of Teachers of Higher Education Institutions (ANDES).

The act has other proposals focused on student demands, such as reducing the value of the RU, more security on campuses, fighting against the precariousness of public education and budget recomposition.
