The defense of the population’s interests must be above any interest, political colors and even ideological issues and debates. This is the opinion of Pernambuco federal deputy Bispo Ossesio Silva, who spoke exclusively to Alberes Xavier’s Blog and Rede Pernambuco de Rádios.

Bishop Ossesio recalled that in 2022, at the height of the presidential election, religious issues were part of the political debate, which meant that the topic was also part of speeches and speeches that still take place today in the National Congress. “Everyone has the right to defend their positions and give their opinions,” he said.

“The most important thing is to work in favor of the people of Pernambuco and the people of Brazil. I will always vote on important issues for health, education and generation of employment and income, after all, the most important thing is to defend the country’s interests”, he said and continued, “I will not shy away from voting for issues that are important to the people and take a stand, regardless of ideology, color and party side”, said the deputy.
