Rome Italy) – They received a proposal and agreed to redo a world-famous scene from the film “The Princess and the Commoner”, starring actors Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn, released in 1953, directed by William Wyler.

Couple Anastasia Potapova and Alexander Shevchenko, both competing at the Rome Open, spent time recreating the scene. “It’s one of my favorite films of all time,” Potapova said. “I was really excited to do it.”

Shevchenko admitted, in turn, that he is not a big fan of photo shoots. But he made sure to do his best in what was only his second photo shoot with his wife.

“Actually, it’s a cool style, it’s an elegant style,” Shevchenko said. “I also love my wife’s style. It was great, everything.”

Shevchenko will face Hungarian Fabian Marozsan in his debut, who surprised Carlos Alcaraz last year in Rome. Potapova will debut against Wang Xiyu.
