A traffic collision left one fatal victim on the afternoon of Thursday, the 25th, on the BR-101 federal highway, at km 173, in the municipality of Teotônio Vilela, in the interior of Alagoas.

Accident leaves fatal charred victim on BR-101 in Alagoas
The driver of a white Chevrolet Cruze allegedly lost control of the car before hitting the retaining wall between the roads. According to information from witnesses, the vehicle was traveling at this speed.
Shortly after the collision, according to information, the vehicle caught fire and, even with the intervention of members of the public, it was not possible to rescue the driver, who died charred inside the car.
The identity of the driver has not been revealed at this time. The Cruze, with a Rio de Janeiro license plate, was heading towards Aracaju (SE).
The Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) of Teotônio Viela was at the scene of the accident and called the Federal Highway Police (PRF) and the Alagoas Military Fire Department (CBM-AL). The accident area was cordoned off.
After forensic procedures carried out by the Scientific Police, the driver’s body was removed from the Chevrolet and sent to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) of Arapiraca.
