The decree published this Thursday (25), in the Official Gazette of the Union, brings together guidelines for operationalizing Snave through the Ministries of Education, Human Rights and Citizenship and Justice and Public Security. Among the measures to be adopted are the creation of a preventive protocol, identification and monitoring of threats; training of education professionals; preparation of emergency response plans; and systematization of incident recording and good practices for combating violence in schools.

The Ministry of Education will be responsible for implementing training and developing protocols in conjunction with federated entities. Likewise, it will also provide guidance on the laws that deal with combating bullying and psychology and social services in schools.

The standard suggests that the tool to be created integrates the National Information and Management System for Public Security and Social Defense (Sinesp), existing since 2012. And along with the production and systematization of information, the provision of psychosocial support is also planned. to victims of violence in or around schools, with a multidisciplinary and intersectoral approach in accordance with the public policy created in January.
