A bus that was on a route for workers fell into a hole covered by rainwater, in the Armando Mendes neighborhood, East Zone of Manaus. The accident happened in the early hours of Monday (6). There were no injuries.
A Amazon Network, residents of the region said that this is the second accident recorded this year on the same street. In April, a car was swept away by the current of water and was removed from the area by residents.
This Monday (6), a bus that was taking workers to the Industrial District got stuck in the hole, which was covered by water. The entire public road was flooded after the heavy rain that hit the capital in the early hours of the day.
The accident happened in a rip rap area.
The Amazonas Military Fire Department (CBMAM) was called to remove the vehicle from the scene. According to the team, it was necessary to use a steel cable to get the bus out of the hole.
