A 45-year-old man was arrested by the Federal Police at the door of the National Social Security Institute (INSS), in the Governor Valadares Center this Thursday morning (25). The driver had a truck printed (stickered), irregularly with the agency’s logo.
INSS employees called the PF when they saw the vehicle parked in front of the agency
The police inspected the driver’s and vehicle’s documents. The driver said he was from the city of Tumiritinga and had gone to take his brother to the agency.
The PF reported that he was arrested for the crime of improper use of INSS symbols. Furthermore, he is suspected of illegally managing people to receive some benefit from the agency.
The case remains under investigation.
In a note sent to g1, the INSS clarified that official vehicles, whether owned or contracted, are duly identified, in accordance with the legislation. Among other criteria, it includes the acronym of the body or entity, logo, and expressions such as “in the service of the federal government” and “exclusive use in service”.
Below is the note informing policyholders, INSS beneficiaries and the general population, that doubts can be resolved through the official service and guidance channels: center 135, from Monday to Saturday, from 7am to 10pm, and the Meu INSS service platform.
Regarding what happened this morning, he said that the information must be requested from the Federal Police.
Car plotting is a process of applying specific adhesives to the surface of vehicle bodywork. Also known as enveloping, plotting gets its name from the machine that carries out the sticker printing process, called a plotter.
