With the aim of guaranteeing financing for road infrastructure projects in Acre, the State government will receive the amount of R$2.2 million to enable the construction of 22 shelters along BR-364. The resources come from parliamentary amendments intended by federal deputy Colonel Ulysses (Union), which will be used to begin implementing the project. The president of the Public Services Regulatory Agency of the State of Acre (Ageac), Luís Almir Brandão, was in Brasília last Wednesday, 24th, for an agenda with the deputy.

In addition to the amendments directed to BR-364, at the beginning of this year, the federal deputy also allocated resources for the construction of new shelters along the AC-30, AC-40, AC-90 and BR-317 highways. “Our commitment at the Regulatory Agency is to always prioritize the good of the population and the development of our state. We faithfully follow the guidelines of the State Governor, Gladson Cameli, actively seeking resources to boost this progress”, stated Brandão.

The Department of Highways, Waterway and Airport Infrastructure of Acre (Deracre) will be responsible for carrying out the works, and the bidding processes for the construction of the shelters have already started.

The shelters along BR-364 aim to offer safety and comfort to passengers using intercity transport, connecting important municipalities in the state to the capital, in addition to playing a crucial role in promoting the dignity and quality of life of travelers and residents. locations.

By providing shelters along the highway, users will have a safe place to wait for transport, especially in adverse weather conditions. This not only increases passenger convenience, but also contributes to reducing risks and accidents related to intercity transport.

“We are also seeking resources from the National Department of Transport Infrastructure (Dnit) to build ports for the municipalities that need them, bringing Small Public Port Facilities (IP4) to the state”, promised the federal deputy.

IP4 aims to provide security in the boarding and disembarking operations of passengers and inputs such as medicines, foodstuffs, clothing, among others to municipalities located on the banks of rivers, which depend exclusively on water transport. Created by Law No. 12,815/2013, IP4 must meet requirements of efficiency, safety, service to the public interest, generality, comfort, courtesy in the provision of services, and preservation of the environment. Furthermore, they must be included in the National Transport System (SNV) and operate exclusively with inland navigation vessels.

These shelters will directly benefit locations such as Sena Madureira, Manoel Urbano, Feijó, Tarauacá, Cruzeiro do Sul, Rodrigues Alves, Mâncio Lima, Porto Walter, Marechal Thaumaturgo and others along the route.
