Next Saturday, the 27th, from 8 am, the social action + Tourism for Women of the Earth will take place, in which 40 indigenous women and 40 rural women from the Paranoá settlement will participate in a social tour of tourist attractions in the Federal District, accompanied of a Tourist guide. The CONAFER SETUR project is carried out with the DF Tourism Secretariat, and its main role is to bring knowledge, culture and entertainment to rural workers.
The Project, which began in 2023, has already passed through 8 Administrative Regions (Ra’s) covering more than 300 women, promoting Social and inclusive Tourism.
In this special edition, the celebrations of Indigenous Peoples’ Day – celebrated on April 19 – around 40 indigenous women from the Federal District, from the Kariri Xocó, Guajajara, Bororo, Tucano, Xukuru de Ororubá, Tuxá, Kariri Sapuyá and Pataxó ethnicities, will participate.
Thinking about contributing to the advancement of the achievements of Rural Women in DF and surrounding areas, SETUR/DF suggests extending the project to promote “good living” through the practice of Tourism to recognize the Capital of the Country, on a day trip and with continued training focused on entrepreneurship with a theme focused on Rural Tourism and the products created that add value to work in the countryside.
