MS Environmental Institute announces competition with 99 vacancies

The Mato Grosso do Sul Environmental Institute (Imasul) announced a public competition with 99 vacancies for civil servants, with opportunities for secondary and higher education levels. Registration begins this Friday (26/4) and runs until May 20. As for higher education vacancies, there will be 40 for environmental inspectors and 21 for environmental analysts.

At mid-level, the competition foresees the hiring of 10 vacancies for environmental technicians, 23 for environmental services technicians and five for park rangers. The announcement of this competition comes amid an 18-year hiatus without selections for Imasul.

For higher education vacancies, candidates must have a degree in one of these higher education courses: environmental, environmental and sanitary, chemical, forestry, civil, electrical, agronomic, surveying and cartographic engineering; veterinary medicine, geology, zootechnics, biology, chemistry, administration, accounting sciences, system analysis, geography, law, pedagogy, tourism and social assistance.

Salaries vary depending on the level of education and position. For higher education, initial earnings are R$7,501.48; At mid-level, the salary is R$3,693.50 for an environmental technician; R$2,866.32 for environmental services technician, and R$3,693.50 for park ranger.

The vacancies offered are for capacity in the cities of Aquidauana, Bonito, Campo Grande, Corumbá, Costa Rica, Coxim, Dourados and Três Lagoas.

Registration will be carried out exclusively online between 2pm on April 26th and 11:59pm on May 20th, 2024. Interested parties must access the Instituto Avalia website. The Registration fee is R$ 121.05, which may be waived for candidates who meet one of the seven requirements listed in the notice.

The objective test will be held on June 9th, with the preliminary result coming out on the 25th of the same month and the final result on July 2nd. That same day, the call for qualifications will be published. The final result of the contest is scheduled to take place on July 30th.
