Registration for the free collective wedding that will be carried out by the Amazonas General Judiciary Office (CGJ-AM) in partnership with the 8th Civil Registry Office of Manaus has been extended. Registrations that initially only ran until the end of March can be made until May 30th.

The initiative aims to help elderly people, sick people, people with disabilities (PCD), women victims of violence, LGBTQIAPN+, indigenous peoples, Afro-descendants, riverside populations, refugees and other groups of people in situations of social inequality and low income, who are interested in making official civil marriage, free of charge.

Interested parties must attend the Notary’s Office of the 8th Civil Registration Office for Natural Persons (8th RCPN), located at Avenida Constantino Nery, nº 3872, Chapada neighborhood, from 8am to 2pm. It is important to be accompanied by witnesses when submitting documentation and signing the process.

Single Grooms

  • Groom’s ID or driver’s license;
  • Groom’s CPF;
  • Original birth certificate of the groom;
  • Proof of address:
  • Completed notary form;
  • Proof of enrollment in assistance programs.

Divorced bride and groom:

  • Marriage certificate with divorce endorsement;
  • Divorce process or Public Deed of Divorce;
  • Updated ID with marital status
  • Proof of address;
  • Filled out notary form;
  • Proof of enrollment in assistance programs

Widowed bride and groom:

  • Original marriage certificate with death note;
  • updated ID
  • Groom’s CPF;
  • Proof of address;
  • Proof of enrollment in assistance programs

Witnesses:

  • RG
  • CPF
  • Proof of address
