SC registry offices extend opening hours in the final stretch of voter registration

Electoral offices in Santa Catarina will open with extended opening hours until May 8th, the date that marks the closing of registration and the deadline for registrations, transfers and regularization of the electoral situation. To be served, you must make an appointment via the website of the Regional Electoral Court of Santa Catarina (TRE-SC) or via Voter Dial.

According to TRE-SC, in-person service spaces are limited and are subject to the capacity of each registry office. All services can be carried out at any electoral office in Santa Catarina, regardless of where the voter votes or intends to vote.

Check the dates and opening hours of the registry offices

• Until May 3rd: Monday to Friday, from 12pm to 7pm;
• Last Saturday, May 4th: customer service from 9am to 1pm;
• On the last three days (6, 7 and 8 May): from 9am to 5pm.

Voters who already have a biometric registration with the Electoral Court can carry out title regularization services and transfer of domicile or voting location directly through the TRE-SC website.

More than 40 thousand vacancies in Santa Catarina

In addition to the extended opening hours, registry offices are seeking to expand their structures. According to the TRE-SC Inspectorate, the measures will create more than 40 thousand vacancies throughout the State.

However, some municipalities already have a high demand, such as Biguaçu, Blumenau and Florianópolis. Cities like Joinville and Piçarras already have 70% of service vacancies filled.
