Young man who flew over a car during a crash leaves the ICU and his family runs a blood donation campaign in AC | Acre

According to the boy’s brother, Marcílio Henrique, he needs to undergo hemodialysis. The procedure is carried out when the kidneys lose their ability to filter the blood, the balance of substances such as sodium, potassium, urea and creatinine in the body is impaired.

According to the Ministry of Health, for those undergoing hemodialysis, donating blood is essential. This is because these patients often have anemia, due to decreased production of red blood cells by diseased kidneys. Anemia can be worsened during hemodialysis, as the filtration process also removes some blood cells.

Furthermore, hemodialysis can cause blood loss, either through small bleeding during the procedure or due to the need for frequent exams. Therefore, blood replacement becomes necessary to maintain the health and well-being of these patients.

Henrique’s friend, Gabriel Bertoldo, told the g1 that the young man has already left the ICU and is admitted to the emergency room bed at the Rio Branco Urgency and Emergency Hospital and will probably have the drain in his lung removed.

As a result of the accident, Mássimo Henrique suffered injuries to his arm, shoulder, chest, ribs, an open fracture of the pelvis and kidney failure.

In addition to hemodialysis sessions to treat kidney failure, the young man had a drain in his chest to remove fluids from his lungs.

The boy must also undergo surgery to reconstruct the torn ligaments in his left elbow, so that he can regain movement in his left arm. The procedure, however, should only be done later.

Motorcyclist flies over car during crash and is in serious condition in Rio Branco

The collision between the car and the motorcycle occurred on April 7, in the Aviário neighborhood, in the capital of Acre. The accident was filmed by a security camera and shows motorcyclist Massimo Henrique, 27, flying over the car and falling several meters from the vehicle. (See video above)

The two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions. The car was on Estrada do Aviário and was turning onto Avenida Nações Unidas when it was surprised by the motorcycle which, according to the driver, was coming at high speed.

According to the statement, the driver of the motorcycle possibly did not pay attention to the movement of the car and ended up colliding head-on. The breathalyzer test, carried out to identify alcohol intake, was carried out on the driver of the car with a negative result.

Also according to Bptrans, a breathalyzer test was not carried out on the motorcyclist due to the man’s health status.
