From May 20 to 24, 2024, Sebrae holds MEI Week. Roraima will have programming at 3 points of service in Boa Vista (Parque Germano Augusto Sampaio; Parking at Supermercado São Jorge Caranã; Sebrae Ataíde Teive) and 1 point in Rorainópolis (Av. Senador Hélio Campos, 2558, Cidade Nova neighborhood, Rorainópolis), with 5 days with lots of activities, networking, lectures, practical workshops, courses, content, as well as lots of golden tips and success stories from entrepreneurs who inspire and teach how they achieved success! The event is promoted annually to offer programming focused on the demand of small businesses and specialized service for Brazilian individual microentrepreneurs (MEI).
MEI Week 2024 will cover business ideas, entrepreneurial skills, planning, digital transformation, finances, credit guidance, innovation, how to increase sales and much more. Reasons to participate in the program:

Program highlights
On each day of MEI Week 2024, entrepreneurs will follow activities to be inspired, innovate, plan their business, take care of their finances and sell more. To this end, a team of experts was invited to present market trends and explore topics such as “The Advantages of Formalized Business”, “Get the Price Right”, among others.
The program will also feature a national talk show with Thiago Careca, a reference in the market. Businessman Thiago Careca, from the Alagoas group Sanduba do Careca, will give two lectures, one on May 23rd, at Praça Germano Augusto Sampaio, in the Pintolândia neighborhood, West zone of Boa Vista, and another on May 24th, in Rorainópolis, at the Possamai State School.
Thiago Casado Lima França became known as Thiago Careca after opening a small snack bar in Maceió (AL), in 2003. The nickname “Careca” ended up being incorporated into the name of the enterprise, Sanduba do Careca, an enterprise that has almost 200 thousand followers on Instagram. The business took off in 2008 with the support of Sebrae (Brazilian Support Service for Micro and Small Businesses) and gained new units. Today, the group has products and restaurants such as Sanduba do Careca, Passaporte do Careca, Esfiha do Careca, Sorveteria do Careca and Careca Parrilla.
Sebrae will also count on the participation of partners to answer questions and clarify doubts on matters that are part of MEI’s day-to-day activities, such as credit guidance and financing lines – aligning the importance of management and planning as steps that precede the need for credit, as well as clarifying the prerequisites of financial institutions for releasing financing, as well as details about formalization.
MEI Week has the support of Boa Vista City Hall and Supermercado São Jorge.
