More than 400 families from Moju, in the Tocantins integration region, were awarded this Wednesday morning, the 3rd, with checks from the State Government’s housing program, “Sua Casa”. Today, Governor Helder Barbalho brought joy and renewed hope to these families by delivering 420 checks for the housing program, an investment of more than R$3.5 million. The public policy, managed by the Housing Company of the State of Pará (Cohab), assists in the construction and reconstruction of homes for families in situations of social and economic vulnerability.

The delivery was made by the governor of Pará, Helder Barbalho, who was on the agenda in the locality where he delivered several benefits to residents.

“We are delivering here in Moju the benefits of ‘Sua Casa’, an aid so that families can build, expand or renovate their homes. It is a resource that reaches those who need it most, so that they can have decent housing. Use the resource in local commerce, ensuring that money circulates in the municipality itself”.

The program is intended for the construction, renovation, expansion, improvement or adaptation of a housing unit. “Sua Casa” was created by Governor Helder Barbalho in December 2019 and aims to improve the quality of life of the population of the State of Pará.
