SÃO FRANCISCO DE PAULA – A head-on collision involving two trucks left four people injured on Monday afternoon (29). The accident occurred on RS-020, in the location known as Curva da Pêra, at the exit from São Chico to Taquara. It is not yet known what caused the collision, but at the time of the accident it was raining.
According to the São Francisco de Paula Fire Department, who worked on the rescue, four people were injured. The most serious cases are the two drivers, who possibly suffered fractures due to the impact. One of them got stuck in the hardware, requiring the use of hydraulic tools to free it. The victims were rescued by firefighters and Samu teams, and were taken to the São Francisco de Paula hospital.
