Federation announces dates for the semi-finals of the Maranhense Championship


Return matches of the Maranhense semi-finals will be played at the Castelão Stadium

The Maranhão Football Federation (FMF) confirmed, this Wednesday (3), the detailed table of the state semi-final clashes, with their respective dates, times and locations. Four clubs remain in contention for the title, they are: Imperatriz, Maranhão, Tuntum and Sampaio Corrêa.

The first legs are scheduled for this weekend. On Saturday (6), the match between Imperatriz and Sampaio Corrêa takes place, at 7:30 pm, at the Frei Epifânio stadium. On Sunday, the clash between Tuntum and Maranhão, at 4pm, at the Rafael Seabra stadium.

The return matches, in turn, take place over the course of the following week. Sampaio will host Imperatriz on Tuesday (9), while Maranhão will face Tuntum on Thursday (11). Both games will be played at 7:30 pm, at Castelão.

Another detail revealed by the FMF is that Bolivia Querida is trying to postpone the return match against Imperatriz until Wednesday (10). However, the change will have to be authorized by the State Department of Sport and Leisure.
