In the first 20 days of receipt, the Federal Revenue registered the delivery of more than 76 thousand Income Tax (IR) 2024 declarations in the state of Tocantins. This year, approximately 250,000 taxpayers in the state are expected to report to the tax authorities.
The deadline for submitting declarations started on March 15 of this year. As of Wednesday afternoon, 3,76,612 taxpayers had already transmitted their information to the ‘lion’.
From the numbers released in real time by the agency, it is observed that 46.4% of the declarations were pre-filled and 56.3% were simplified. Contributors can access the statistics by clicking here.
The vast majority of taxpayers, corresponding to 87.3%, are eligible to receive a refund, while around 6.3% will have to make payment to the IRS.
The capital, Palmas, leads in the number of declarations presented, totaling 24,318. In Araguaína, in the north of the state, 9,675 taxpayers have already sent their data, while in Gurupi, this number reaches 5,078.
Nationally, more than 9.79 million Income Tax declarations have already been submitted.
The deadline for submitting information is May 31st of this year. Those who receive income from R$30,639.90 must declare income; R$ 153,199.50 from rural activity; or have assets worth up to R$800 thousand.

The refund lots will be paid to taxpayers from May 31st to September 30th, following the following schedule:
1st Batch – May 31st; 2nd Batch – June 28th; 3rd Batch – July 31st; 4th Batch – August 30th; 5th Batch – September 30th.
