The International Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate (CIVP) continues to be issued only via ‘Meu SUS Digital’, according to information from the Amazonas Health Surveillance Foundation – Drª Rosemary Costa Pinto (FVS-RCP). The document, accredited by Anvisa, is required for entry into some tropical countries, to prove immunization against the disease.
The FVS-RCP has stopped issuing the document in person since 2023. The change in rules is available in the CIVP issuance system.
According to Anvisa, yellow fever vaccination records, carried out at vaccination stations, are automatically generated with the certificate in ‘Meu SUS Digital’.
In addition to being a regulatory requirement, the CIVP also serves as a reminder to travelers about the importance of vaccination before embarking on a trip.
Travelers seeking to obtain CIVP against Yellow Fever must access ‘My Digital SUS’ and follow the instructions for issuing the document, available on the Federal Government website and in the application itself, which provides for the computerization and integration of health data.
Both require a login and password for the GOV.BR platform.
