Away from Parque São Jorge for more than eight years, Malcom’s name still plays an important role in Corinthians’ daily life. This is because, according to the 2023 financial statement, Timão has more than R$9 million to receive from the attacker’s transfers.

The document, which was made available on Corinthians’ official website this Tuesday, shows that two teams still need to transfer amounts to Timão as it is the athlete’s training club. Zenit, from Russia, owes R$1.68 million, while Al-Hilal, from Saudi Arabia, where it is currently located, owes R$7.35 million, totaling around R$9.03 million.

The striker has been playing for the Asian club since July last year, when the Russian team negotiated for 60 million euros (R$315 million at the time). For Al-Hilal, Malcom played 42 games, with 21 goals and ten assists, in addition to the Saudi Super Cup title. As Malcom spent 12 to 19 years at Corinthians, Timão received 2.5% of the total transfer value, according to FIFA’s solidarity mechanism.

The amounts receivable represent approximately 12.7% of Corinthians’ pending issues regarding the sale of players, whether based on agreed figures or through the FIFA mechanism. Born in Terrão, Malcom was sold by Corinthians to Bordeaux, from France, in 2016, for five million euros. Two years later, he was traded to Barcelona, ​​from Spain, for 41 million euros, attracting the attention of Zenit the following season. Throughout his career, he handled around R$771 million in negotiations, with Timão profiting R$36 million from this amount.

During his period at Parque São Jorge, the striker played 60 games with the black and white mantle, scoring ten goals. He had a significant participation in the sixth Brazilian championship, in 2015.
