Man with 81 criminal records is arrested in Copacabana

The first record was in 2013, when he was 10 years old, and he was arrested for the first time for theft in the center of Rio. Of the 81 records, at least 5 have already taken him to prison since he became of age.

Security camera footage showed him putting supermarket items in a bag and trying to leave the store. He was stopped by security. Shortly afterwards, the police car arrives and Patrick is arrested.

He was taken to the 12th DP (Copacabana).

“It was found that he has 80 criminal convictions for the most diverse crimes, including illegal possession of a weapon, bodily harm, six crimes of robbery. In fact, he already has a conviction for one of these crimes of robbery. And, due to his criminal history , was once again represented by the preventive detention of the subject”, said delegate Ângelo Lages.

Patrick was imprisoned until March 15 for the robbery of a dental clinic in the same neighborhood. He and an accomplice took products worth more than R$100,000. He had been arrested on January 10th.

He was taken to the Benfica prison, in the North Zone of Rio, where he will undergo a custody hearing.
