Aware of the importance of voting, young Adryelli Israel Silva e Sousa, 17 years old, resident of the Taquari sector, was the first to be assisted and issued her first electoral card, at the Tocantins Regional Electoral Court (TRE-TO) service point. , at Aureny III. Opened on Monday morning (1/4), the point is located at the Social Assistance Reference Center (Cras) Karajá I.
“I came to make my first electoral registration. I think it is very important that TRE-TO brought this opportunity here, to the southern region. It’s closer to home. Many people would have to take a long journey and travel to the center of Palmas, and not everyone can do so. With this service point, democracy becomes more accessible for all of us who live here”, said Adryelli Israel, about the service point.
The young woman, who will vote for the first time in this year’s municipal elections, talks about the responsibility of her participation in the greatest democratic act. “Although it is a good burden of responsibility, being a voter in the city, it is also important because we learn from an early age the power of our choices and it is also for our future”, she concluded.
