The influence of a low pressure system combined with the supply of heat and humidity, provides conditions for the occurrence of rain showers

Tuesday (2) begins with variation in clouds and conditions for isolated rain across the State, due to the action of a cold front that moves away from Santa Catarina, but which still influences weather conditions and temperatures in the State.

Between the afternoon and evening, the influence of a low pressure system combined with the supply of heat and humidity, provides conditions for the occurrence of rain showers accompanied by thunderstorms, mainly in areas from the plateaus to the coast, with a low risk for occurrences, according to Civil Defense.

Temperatures will be mild. Minimum temperatures vary between 14°C and 17°C in the highest points of the State and range between 17°C and 23°C in other regions. In the afternoon, maximum temperatures vary between 23°C and 26°C in the highest points of the Southern Plateau, the Midwest and the South Coast and range between 26°C and 31°C in the rest of the State.

Maritime agitation continues to increase throughout the day due to the influence of a low pressure system located in the ocean, with waves from south to southeast, with heights between 1.5m and 2.0m and peaks of up to 2.5m at sea, from Greater Florianópolis to the South Coast.

The wind blows with weak to moderate intensity, predominantly from the north for most of the period, but turning towards the south throughout the afternoon, with gusts of up to 60 km/h on the coast.
