The Sudeco Caravan (Superintendency of Development of the Center-West) received 2,200 people in Mato Grosso do Sul for assistance on facilitated credit for companies in the State, among the four days of events scheduled in the cities of Campo Grande and Dourados.

To the Midiamax, superintendent Rose Modesto stated that the edition was positive. “We see it as another important step for us to be able to further publicize these lines of financing, constitutional funds, as is the case with the FCO, at the same time, also an opportunity to bring a lot of information to companies that never caught on, for microentrepreneurs, on the issue of microcredit”, he considers.

“We had an average of around 1,500 people who looked for a caravan, some to be able to do project training there with Sudeco, others with Sebrae to talk a little about the business plan, others who visited financial institutions to understand more about the financing lines, including FCO, Pronump and all other things. So, there was an average of 1,500 companies that visited the caravan here over the two days in Campo Grande”, details Rose.

The services were held on March 20th and 21st at Mercadão Municipal, in Campo Grande, and were attended by Rose Modesto, Superintendent of Sudeco and Waldez Góes, Minister of Integration and Regional Development.

On the 24th and 25th, the event took place in Dourados, where 700 attendances were recorded. Afterwards, the Caravan returned to the Capital on March 26th, for services at the Central Fair, totaling 2,200.

Representatives from partner banks were present at the event, such as Sicred União, represented by Executive Director Luiz Guilherme Sales; Sicoob, represented by Eduardo Marques dos Santos; and the manager of the Cressol bank, Murilo Henrique Pereira, as well as Cleuber Gonçalves Linhares, President of the Campo Grande Municipal Market Merchants Association, and Roberto Paneago, President of the Commercial and Industry Association, representing all businesspeople.

The Sudeco Caravan provides guidance and information on obtaining credit lines from the Municipality for businesspeople and rural producers, promoting local and regional development.
