DF reaches 205 deaths from dengue; another 55 are investigated

The Federal District surpassed 205 deaths caused by dengue and has another 55 deaths under investigation. The data are from InfoSaúde-DF, from the State Department of Health (SES-DF). Still according to the data, the DF reached 201,391 thousand notifications of cases of the disease and 190,920 thousand probable cases.

Infectious disease specialist Joana D’arc Gonçalves highlighted that dengue has always been a challenge and, in the so-called interepidemic period, that is, between two epidemics, there were failures in the establishment of actions to control dengue breeding sites.
