Sigo, the main tool for recording incidents by the Civil Police of Mato Grosso do Sul, presents instabilities. With the system down, the population is unable to formalize complaints.

The problem, according to reports, has been occurring since last week. A reader of Midiamax Newspaper states that he contacted several police stations in Campo Grande to file a threat report, however, the system was down.

“I went to the Community Emergency Care Station in the Center, at the 5th Police Station and they told me to come back later because they couldn’t register the incident. It’s been like this since last week,” he says.

According to the woman, who did not want to be identified, the information at the police stations is that the system presents instabilities and prevents the completion of records. “They told me that they are managing to make two, three police reports a day. I stayed at one of the police stations from 1 pm to 5 pm and was unable to register the threat. If something happens to me, I can’t even prove that I tried to register it,” she highlights.

Sought by the news team Midiamax NewspaperSejusp MS (Secretary of State for Justice and Public Security of Mato Grosso do Sul) reported that teams from the Information Technology Superintendence in partnership with COMPNET carry out actions to monitor the application and maintenance of the Sigo system’s hosting infrastructure and seek solutions to performance problems on the platform.

So far there is no deadline for the system to be stabilized and the fluctuations still persist.
