Rio Grande do Sul anticipates April with above average temperatures and possible storms

Throughout this month of April, Rio Grande do Sul and other regions of Brazil are expected to experience weather with temperatures above average. Specifically in Rio Grande do Sul, the North of the state is expected to be most affected by this increase in temperature. However, the heat will not be the only protagonist of the month, as storms are also predicted.

The predominance of hot and dry air masses is mainly responsible for the higher temperatures, with possible periods of intense heat, especially in Mato Grosso do Sul. However, throughout the month, the arrival of cold air masses is also expected , especially in southern Brazil. This interaction between hot air and cold air can cause storms, especially in Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Paraná and Mato Grosso do Sul.

The forecast for the capital, Porto Alegre, this Monday (1st), is a sunny day, with rain showers expected in the afternoon and evening, with a maximum temperature of 31°C.

On Tuesday (2), the forecast indicates sun with many clouds throughout the day, with the possibility of rain at any time and temperatures between 19°C and 24°C.

On Wednesday (3), the weather will remain firm in the capital, with a minimum temperature of 21°C and a maximum of 30°C. However, on Thursday (4), the rains are expected to return to the city.
