The information that influencer Samara Mapoua was arrested in the act for possession of a weapon last Tuesday (26/3), on Avenida Brasil, near Penha, in the northern region of Rio de Janeiro, went viral on social networks and in the media today , Thursday (28/3). In her statement at the 22nd DP (Penha), Samara Mapoua assumed possession of the weapon, justifying that she was receiving threats and chose to purchase the pistol for her own protection.
Consequently, the influencer was arrested in the act and during the custody hearing, the judge ordered the conversion of the prison to preventive. Judge Diego Fernandes Silva Santos also ordered Samara to be sent to a women’s prison until the investigations are completed.
